A Special Father-Son Motorcycle Road Trip

For Sean O’Conner and his dad, a trip through the Southern States was all about creating lasting memories. Planning a motorcycle road trip from Oklahoma to New Orleans, Sean specifically looked for a place that offered comfort, history, and excellent hospitality.

They found the perfect setup at the Andrew Morris House in our Tucker Suite, which features two separate bedrooms—an ideal arrangement for a father-and-son getaway. To top it all off, Sean’s dad was celebrating his upcoming 81st birthday, though we all agreed he looks decades younger! It was an honor to host their memorable journey.

A Perdue Family Tradition & Graduation Reunion

The Perdue family are frequent, familiar faces around the Andrew Morris House, and we always look forward to their return. During their latest visit, six members of the family traveled together and booked the entire upstairs level of the house.

By reserving both the Tucker Suite (which sleeps 4) and the Ragan Suite (which sleeps 2), they enjoyed a private, spacious layout that is absolutely perfect for families traveling together. The Perdues are already planning their next trip back to Natchitoches to celebrate Patrick Perdue’s upcoming graduation from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA).

Celebrating Romance in the Henry Guest Room

Distance cannot keep the McCurleys apart, and they chose the cozy Henry Guest Room at the Andrew Morris House to celebrate their wedding anniversary. After their stay, Kia McCurley shared a wonderful review of their experience:

"Staying at the Andrew Morris House B+B was a lovely experience. An easy 5-10 minute walk to the downtown Natchitoches area, this B+B had lovely rooms, great service, an easy check-in process, and such great value. Ms. Renee, in particular, was so sweet and offered (insisted) to take pictures of us for our anniversary. I fully endorse staying at this lovely place and getting a taste of the history of the Oldest Town in Louisiana." - Kia

Whether you are hitting the open road, gathering with family, or escaping for a romantic milestone, we have a space tailored just for you.
