Breakfast at Andrew Morris House offers a relaxed beginning to the day in one of Natchitoches’ distinctive historic homes. Each morning, guests gather for a freshly prepared two-course breakfast in the intimate surroundings of this 1855 property, just steps from Front Street.
Breakfast is served promptly at 8:30 a.m. Couples generally enjoy their own table for two, while tables can be arranged together for family members or friends traveling together.
Two Courses, Carefully Balanced
Each breakfast begins with a first course chosen to complement the entrée that follows. When the second course features Eggs Benedict, a rolled omelet, quiche, or another savory egg dish, we often begin with something slightly sweeter.
When pancakes, Apple Spice Belgian Waffles, or French toast are served, the first course may be fresh seasonal fruit or our colorful Fruit Sundae made with Greek yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and a drizzle of honey.
A New Breakfast Experience Each Morning
Our innkeeper selects both courses each morning from a collection of longtime guest favorites. Guests staying more than one night will not receive the same first or second course twice, making each breakfast at Andrew Morris House a little different from the morning before.
Selections may include Louisiana bread pudding, baked apple dumplings, fresh fruit, Eggs Benedict, rolled omelets, Egg and Ham Crisps, Apple Spice Belgian Waffles, pancakes, or French toast.
Dietary Requests and Food Allergies
Please notify us of food allergies or dietary restrictions at least 72 hours before arrival. Advance notice gives our innkeeper time to plan the menu and purchase appropriate ingredients for your stay.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate dietary needs, although specific dishes, substitutions, and menu items cannot be guaranteed.
